Reinforcement fitter — Newton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Newton County, Mississippi. Your main tasks: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
