Scaffolding erector • Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based on a bridge maintenance job. You should have: • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms Day-to-day duties: • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
