Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Venango County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level The role involves: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Six days a week, one day off.
