Join our team: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Whatcom County, Washington. The job is at a shipyard. The role involves: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards You should have: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice 5+ years on the tools preferred.
