Elevator service technician • Grant County, South Dakota

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Grant County, South Dakota. You will work on a lift modernisation project. You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways On a typical shift you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
