Shuttering carpenter — Unicoi County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Unicoi County, Tennessee. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Day-to-day duties: • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
