Immediate opening: stainless steel welder (Indiana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Clinton County, Indiana. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day to day you will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
