HSE officer • Oturkpo, Benue State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HSE officer in Oturkpo, Benue State. The job is at a manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot 5+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
