Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Pulaski County, Illinois. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness On a typical shift you will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear.
