We are recruiting: structural MIG welder (South Dakota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Stanley County, South Dakota. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Six days a week, one day off.
