Immediate opening: we are hiring a presser in Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, England. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day-to-day duties: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £95 per day, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
