Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Akoko South East, Ondo State. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes You will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. ₦205,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off.
