Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Rains County, Texas. The job is in a job-work machining unit. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred On a typical shift you will run first-off inspection and sign off the part; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
