Now hiring: we are hiring a production welder in Brown County, Indiana. On the job you will handle: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
