Excavator operator • Jefferson County, Montana

Join our team: we are hiring an excavator operator in Jefferson County, Montana. You will be based on a busy construction site. Requirements: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels 5+ years on the tools preferred.
