Quality assurance assistant — Hinds County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Hinds County, Mississippi. You will be based at a pharmaceutical packaging facility. What we are looking for: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols The role involves: • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts Full-time, day shift.
