Retail butcher wanted in Rutland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a retail butcher in Rutland County, Vermont. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. Your main tasks: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required 5+ years on the tools preferred.
