Pipe TIG welder • Suffolk County, New York

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Suffolk County, New York. The job is on a structural steel site. You will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
