Gantry crane operator • Polk County, Texas

Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Polk County, Texas. You will be based in a steel fabrication workshop. You will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
