Gas installation technician wanted in Alpena County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Alpena County, Michigan. You will work in a gas distribution network. Day-to-day duties: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $210 per day plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
