Press shop operator wanted in Bibb County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press shop operator in Bibb County, Alabama. You will be based at a busy press shop. On the job you will handle: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
