Great opportunity: lifting rigger (Pennsylvania)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $160 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
