We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Yamhill County, Oregon. The job is at a busy garment factory. The role involves attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
