Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Livingston County, Michigan. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
