Horticulturist — Lincoln Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a horticulturist in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a private estate garden. You should have: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Day to day you will rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
