You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
