Gas installation technician • Perry County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Perry County, Illinois. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. Your main tasks: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Driving licence for travel between sites 4+ years on the tools preferred.
