Metal caster — Adams County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Adams County, Idaho. Day to day you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
