GMAW welder wanted in Accomack County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Accomack County, Virginia. Day to day you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
