Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Lane County, Kansas. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
