Gas meter installer wanted in Washington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Washington County, Mississippi. You will be based in a gas distribution network. On the job you will handle: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Part-time with flexible hours.
