Concrete placer • Pontotoc County, Oklahoma

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete placer in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma. Day-to-day duties: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
