Glass fitter — Greene County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glass fitter in Greene County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers Requirements: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders 6+ years on the tools preferred.
