Immediate opening: port container crane operator (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in North East Lincolnshire, England. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Understanding of hand and radio signals The role involves: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £2,450 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
