Vacancy available: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Casey County, Kentucky. You will be based on a residential housing site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions You will load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
