Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium You will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle.
