Great opportunity: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Monterey County, California. The job is in a factory paint shop. Your main tasks: • Fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams You should have: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec Full-time, day shift. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
