Incoming goods inspector • Alameda County, California

We are recruiting: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Alameda County, California. You will work at a food processing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
