Elevator repair technician — Fulton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Fulton County, Ohio. The job is at a busy lift company. On a typical shift you will adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; run load and overload tests with test weights; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
