Now hiring: kitchen porter (Maine)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Hancock County, Maine. Day to day you will help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations. Requirements: • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure Full-time with occasional weekends.
