Shuttering and concrete hand • Franklin County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Franklin County, Georgia. The job is on a road and bridge project. The role involves float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
