Aluminium tig welder — Liberty County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Liberty County, Texas. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances You will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper.
