Safety officer • Quay County, New Mexico

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety officer in Quay County, New Mexico. You will work in a chemical processing unit. On the job you will handle: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot 3+ years on the tools preferred.
