Now hiring: visual inspection operator (Florida)

Join our team: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Lake County, Florida. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Day to day you will inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools. You should have: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
