Steel fixer — Jefferson Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Day-to-day duties: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
