We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Bridgend county borough, Wales. Day to day you will sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around £1,950 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
