Safety officer wanted in Coos County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Coos County, Oregon. You will work on a high-rise building project. Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations You will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
