TIG welder wanted in Luna County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Luna County, New Mexico. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Your main tasks: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run 3+ years on the tools preferred.
