Great opportunity: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Bamberg County, South Carolina. The job is on an export house sewing floor. The role involves topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
