We are recruiting: we are hiring a pressman in Unicoi County, Tennessee. The job is in a busy laundry. You will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
